Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: April 10, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies specifically to the Wayfolio travel photo book platform operated by Decoded Systems, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy supplements our Terms of Service and governs the types of content that may be uploaded to or generated through the Wayfolio platform.

1. Purpose

Wayfolio is designed to help travelers create beautiful, personalized photo books documenting their journeys. This Policy ensures that the platform remains a safe, welcoming environment for all users while meeting our legal obligations regarding content moderation and reporting.

2. Welcomed Content

Wayfolio is built for travel photography. The following types of content are welcomed and encouraged on the platform:

  • Travel and destination photography — landscapes, cityscapes, architecture, natural scenery
  • Vacation and trip documentation — beaches, resorts, landmarks, cultural sites, national parks
  • People and group photos — family portraits, group shots, candid travel moments
  • Food, dining, and culinary experiences
  • Nightlife, entertainment, and social gatherings
  • Swimwear and beach photography in appropriate travel contexts
  • Adventure and outdoor activities — hiking, diving, skiing, water sports
  • Cultural events, festivals, and local experiences
  • Wildlife and nature photography
  • Transportation — airports, trains, boats, road trips

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on the Wayfolio platform. Uploading prohibited content may result in immediate content rejection, account suspension, or permanent account termination:

Zero-Tolerance Categories

Content in the following categories will result in immediate account termination and, where required by law, reporting to law enforcement:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Any visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Decoded Systems maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy. All detected CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and we cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
  • Terrorism and violent extremism: Content that promotes, glorifies, or recruits for terrorist organizations or violent extremist ideologies.

Other Prohibited Content

The following content is also prohibited and will be rejected by our automated moderation systems:

  • Graphic violence: Depictions of extreme violence, gore, torture, or gratuitous depictions of injury or death
  • Illegal activity: Content depicting or promoting illegal activities, including drug manufacturing or distribution, weapons trafficking, or other criminal conduct
  • Self-harm and suicide: Content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery: Sexually explicit images shared without the consent of the depicted individual
  • Exploitation: Content that exploits or endangers any individual, including human trafficking

4. How Content Moderation Works

Wayfolio uses automated AI-powered content moderation to enforce this Policy. Here is how the process works:

Pre-Storage Screening

Every photograph uploaded to Wayfolio is analyzed by our AI moderation systems before it is stored on our servers. This screening occurs in real time during the upload process.

Rejection of Prohibited Content

If our automated systems determine that an uploaded image contains prohibited content, the image is rejected immediately. Rejected images are never written to persistent storage, backup systems, or any other permanent medium on our infrastructure.

No Human Review

Our content moderation process is fully automated. No Decoded Systems employee or contractor reviews images that are flagged and rejected by our automated systems. This protects both user privacy and the wellbeing of our team.

CSAM Reporting

If our automated systems detect material that constitutes or appears to constitute CSAM, we are required by federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) to file a report with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). In these cases, limited information necessary for the report — including the image, account information, and upload metadata — is preserved and transmitted to NCMEC as required by law.

5. Appeals Process

If you believe your content was incorrectly rejected by our automated moderation systems, you may submit an appeal by contacting us at trust@decoded-systems.com. Appeals will be reviewed by a member of our Trust & Safety team. We aim to respond to appeals within five (5) business days. Please include your account email address, the approximate date and time of the upload, and a description of the content that was rejected.

Note: Appeals are not available for content flagged as CSAM. Federal law requires us to report such content and we cannot reverse that process.

6. Enforcement

Violations of this Policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

  • Content rejection: The uploaded image is blocked from being stored on the platform
  • Account suspension: Temporary suspension of your Wayfolio account pending review
  • Account termination: Permanent closure of your Wayfolio account and deletion of all associated data
  • Law enforcement reporting: In cases involving CSAM, terrorism, or other illegal activity, we will report the violation to the appropriate law enforcement authorities as required or permitted by law

We reserve the right to take enforcement action without prior notice when we determine that the severity of the violation warrants immediate action.

7. Changes to This Policy

Decoded Systems reserves the right to modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Policy to our website. We will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this document to reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of Wayfolio following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
